World Toilet Day

Yes, you read that title correctly. It is no joke there is a world toilet day and it is on the 19th of November and it is quite a serious matter. According to the official website, the day is to raise awareness and tackle to global struggle of sanitation. In a 2015 report, 2.5 Billion people struggle with sanitation issues. This is quite an alarming number and this necessity isn’t provided because of corrupt governments or social conditions and even because of war-torn regions which are becoming common in a lot of countries today.

The Sustainable Development Goals set a target in 2015 for everybody to have a toilet by the year 2030. This is not an easy goal because 1/3 of humanity does not have this luxury that we do. Learn more about this initiative and find out ways you can help by logging onto
